Michael C. Gilbert is an environmental resources specialist with the Omaha District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Gilbert holds a B.S. (1977) and M.A. (1980) in biology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He has worked 17 years in the regulatory program, responsible for regional studies including wetlands inventory, geographic information system applications, and major regulatory actions. He serves as the District's wetlands specialist for regulatory, natural resources management, and Superfund activities.
